Liv Tyler: "I would dye my blonde hair like Anne Hathaway"

Speaking at the premiere of Cannes of Every Kiss tells a story; a short video for Magnum 5 kisses, the Hollywood starlet, revealed to Cosmo that she would dye her ultra-blonde hair like Anne Hathaway.

She told us: "Yes, I'd do that. It is so much fun, she looks beautiful as a blonde."

And it sounds like she is struck with a length of Anne's cropped hair, too!

"I had very short hair once, and I loved it," continued. "I liked that when I had short I had gone blonde or done anything really fun with her. I was so anxious to grow again as I did nothing fun. "

But it is not easy to go crazy with the color of the hair when you work with brands of hair, she said: "I have always had hair contracts. I've got Pantene now, but before that, I had it in Asia, so I had to be red for a while and you can't always change. With the modelling of the stuff, I always thought that it is better to remain most natural possible. "But I've always wanted that I could do something crazy."

Anne Hathaway debuts new blonde crop hairstyle

Anne Hathaway, we barely recognised you!

The Oscar-winning actress has taken her hair transformation one step further, transforming Fantine's now-iconic cropped 'do from deep chestnut to ultra-bright blonde.

And, to be perfectly honest, we're kind of in love with the look on her.

Anne made sure she turned heads at the 2013 Met Gala Ball when she showed off her new bleach blonde hair on the red carpet for the first time, teaming her platinum crop with a vintage Valentino dress.

She's not the first celeb to sport a mini platinum mane; Michelle Williams, Miley Cyrus, Carey Mulligan, Sarah Harding, Charlize Theron and plenty more fabulously fun fearless females have reached for the bleach after braving the chop - but it seems as if Anne was inspired by one Cosmo cover star in particular...

That's right! Anne admitted to red carpet press that her new 'do wasall about channeling 70s rock chick Debbie Harry - which makes perfect sense. After all, if you're going to go vlonde (that's VERY blonde, for all those of you who aren't au fait with the hair lingo), why not do it in honour of Blondie herself, eh?

The dark eyed beauty has just the right features to balance out this dramatic new look - think flawless skin, impeccable eyebrows and a gorgeous smile - and, after having her crop named the most inspiring of 2013, we can't help but wonder if fans will be encouraged to brave a whole new colour in a bid to channel their fave hair hero.
