Green jeans!
Shopping for jeans is about as much fun as shopping for a new swimsuit.?Am I right, ladies??Men have so much easier in this Department.?I'm a little envious.?In any case, try to find the right pair of jeans can be a little to feel as if you were on a hunt.?Most of the time on hunting, you are the prey... with a Jean that dominates and you leaving at a loss.?But when you find the right pair with the fit and the best wash, you're in predatory mode and have won the battle.?Every time I think of jeans is about the scenario I come up with in my mind.?I never think about the process entering the manufacture of all these dozens of jeans on that I try.?You know how they 'do' jeans?
To begin, jeans go through many, many... .and many washes.?All that washing uses a lot of water.?What water could go to billions of dollars (not thousand, not million... but billions) of people in the world who do not have the luxury of fresh water.?People who walk for miles just to get enough water from a central location in their village in their jugs to last their families during a short period of time.?Thinking of how incredible it would be if Jean didn't need all that water (42 liters, to be exact) just for a finish cycle??This water could not find a better home??I think Yes.
Levi decided to review this problem and find a solution.?How can they even make jeans with the same quality but using up to 96% less water for certain products in their new line??They found a way.?The water of Levi > less Jeans are not only elegant, comfortable and classic, but they do these jeans with 16 million liters less water than in the past.?A small, but powerful step in the quest to support our smarter planet and treat people in a way we can.?Levi, I love it!
In partnership with water.org, Levi is able to essentially give the water they use not to people in need.?Water.org is a pioneer in the delivery of water to places and people who need it the most.?To dig wells for hygiene education, it is all covered.?Thank you for this!
If you want to do your part, you can do some easy peasy things:
Wash your jeans in cold water.Try to wash the jeans once per week maximum.Visit Facebook and 'like' Levis and Water.orgTurn in the sea off tap when you brush your teeth.Think about how you use water in your daily life.?Everything you can change or improve??Without doubt, not true?No matter what you do to help conserve our resources, such as water, will make a difference.?Imagine if everyone make a change.?This is no drop in the ocean.
